Photographers are a dime a dozen nowadays. Everywhere you look there is a talented photographer.
Because I work to see you–really see you. I am not one for stiff, forced poses or rushed wedding day timelines. My primary goal is to document you, as you are, with the people you love–wherever that may be.
Photos need not be complicated–I’m here to serve you, capture you and your loved ones as you are at this moment in time, and provide you with timeless, cherished memories to hold onto–forever.

Your wedding day is not a photoshoot. It is not about a perfectly choreographed first dance and it's not about the number of people in your bridal party. It is about you and the person you have chosen to spend forever with celebrating your love with those who mean the most.
I challenge the notion that your wedding needs to be an extravagant production to impress those in attendance. My goal is for you to slow down and truly experience your day while I capture each and every moment. My attention to detail and focus on emotive imagery, capturing the day as it happens is what draws my clients to my work.. At the end of the day the flowers will fade and your dress will be boxed up–but the photos, the memories–they are forever.
I value and prioritize natural movement and candid, documentary style imagery over stiff and forced posing. No two people are the same just as no two weddings are the same. Your gallery should reflect your personalities and your love story.

Lifestyle and portrait sessions vary from solo-headshots, couples portraits, or family sessions.
My approach to lifestyle and portraiture work is no different than my approach to all other sessions: capturing you and those you love where you are at, at this moment in time. Freezing these moments forever.
These sessions can take place wherever you'd like--including my photography studio located in Downtown Pensacola at no additional cost.

There is not much I love more as a business owner than working with other businesses to achieve their goals as a brand. I approach each branding session with a desire to create images that not only showcase my clients' services or products but also embodies their brand identity and what sets them a part.
I like to schedule a time to sit down or talk virtually with branding clients to truly get to know their goals for the session in order to craft an experience that is truly beneficial to them and their specific goals.
Whether my clients provide me with a mood board of inspiration or we create one together, it is important to me that the entire process is a collaborative effort to ensure I tell the story of their brand or business authentically.

Located in the heart of downtown Pensacola, FL, The Studio by SCP was started out of my desire to dive deeper into editorial and portrait work in a controlled environment which enables creativity to be cultivated. When moving into my second and current studio I created a space which is available to be rented out to any and all creatives.

Studio Rentals
After nearly 8 years in the industry I’ve come to find how vital it is to never feel as though you’ve truly “made it.” To continually create lasting, authentic imagery one must be willing to deny their pride and realize there is always more to learn. Whether you are just beginning your photography career or looking for specialized advice or a fresh outlook on your existing business, I’d love to work with you to help you achieve your goals. I take a hyper-personalized approach with each mentorship client to assess the areas in which your business needs to be strengthened. I work alongside you to not only equip you to reach your goals, but exceed them.
Mentorships & Education
For all session types, please use the form available on my contact page. Once you have submitted your inquiry, I will be back in touch via email to set up a consultation call or, if you are local to Pensacola and our schedules align, a meet up. We will then collaborate on the vision for your shoot to confirm availability, choose locations (whether it is at an event, outdoors, at your home, or in my studio), and identify the style of the shoot.
The Booking Process
My goal is to make art with people who are passionate about the people and places and things that they love. If you are not finding a service that matches your personal needs or financial capabilities, please still inquire and we can talk about your circumstances. I can custom craft (within reason) a package for any session type based on your wants and needs. Please note that all sessions and event coverage require a retainer upon booking, and all fees are due prior to our session or event date.
Finances & Accessibility
Your session is your time. When you book a session you have my full attention for our session duration, and you may use that time as you see fit. If that includes an outfit or location change, that is a-okay with me! Just know that we do not add extra time to the session duration. You are also most welcome to bring pets to our sessions. Some locations like local businesses and parks might have pet regulations, so please let me know in advance if you plan to bring your pet so we can confirm they are welcomed by our destination hosts.
Session Expectations
I am local to Pensacola, Florida on the Emerald Coast. If you are local to Pensacola or plan to travel here, there are no additional fees for travel. I LOVE to travel and want to see more of the world. I would love to come to you or travel with you anywhere in the world for destination weddings & elopements or portrait sessions. Travel fees for any destination outside of the Pensacola area will be evaluated based on the location. For Pensacola locals or visitors, there is no additional fee for choosing to use The Studio as the session venue when working with me.
